Fan Feature Friday: Rosa Mandujano
Rosa Mandujano, or as most Pantone people know her as Rosa from the Bay is this weeks Fan Feature Friday! She shares how she became a Dodger fan and what trips she’s excited for this season.
Is there anything Pantone fans should know about you?
I might be from the BayArea, but I love the Dodgers as if I were from LA.
How you became a Dodger fan?
Besides marrying into it....My Moms side of the family is located in LA, growing up we would often take weekend trips to Southern California and I remember walking into my uncles house with the Dodgers games being on TV quite often.
First memory as a dodger fan?
Jaime Jarrin- listening to him announce the game in Spanish.
Favorite Memory as a Dodger fan?
Going to the World Series in 2017 with my Son! It’s was a whole different feeling in the stadium during the WS.
How did you first hear about Pantone 294?
Have you been on any Pantone trips?
Yes, a few every year since 2015
Which was your first trip?
If you’ve been on multiple trips which was your favorite trip?
New York Yankees “Roll Call”
Favorite memory on the trips?
Has to be in Pittsburgh when Normar Garciaparra photobombed our group picture on the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
How you describe P294 to someone that doesn’t know about it?
You’re going to meet 100’s of Dodger fans that love the Dodgers just as much as you do. Get ready to make new friends that will eventually be like your family. (We made a lots of friends in 2015, and let me tell you we still keep in touch with them all- they’re are amazing people💙) So don’t think twice and join us...hope to see you there!
Do you usually attend alone or attend with friends or family?
We travel as a group of four my husband, my son and daughter.
If you could have dinner with any Dodgers player, past or present, who would it be?
What would you ask him?
Does he believe he should be in the Hall of Fame?
What is you favorite thing about Dodger Stadium?
I’ve been many stadiums and this stadium by far has the BEST atmosphere!
If you could play for the Dodgers what position would you play and why?
I would definitely be a pitcher...I love the bright lights!
What would your walk up song be?
“Wrecking Ball- “Miley Cyrus”
What is your favorite section to sit in Dodger stadium and why?
Left Field Pavilion- because I get a clear view of the field & Home plate.
If you could shadow a current Dodger for the day, who would it be and why?
Justin Turner- Because of all the volunteer work he does and how he’s involved in the community and of course because he graduated from Fullerton where my Son’s currently attending.
Besides dodger baseball what are your other hobbies?
When I’m not spending time with my nieces and nephews catch me on a spontaneous ROAD TRIP!
How many stadium have you been to?
As of today we’ve been to 16 stadium in July it’ll be 17!
Besides Dodger stadium which is your favorite?
Wrigley Field- because of its history & because I love the Chicago Bears- Da Bears!
Which trips are you excited for most during the 2019 season?
BOSTON! I’ve been asking Alex for a while and when I saw it on the Pantone294 schedule I was like a hawk waiting for tickets to release!
What would you say to someone thinking about a Pantone trip?
First I would tell them that there’s NO FEE to be a member! Second.....there’s nothing to think about, just book it! You’ll be surrounded by Dodger fans just like yourself. Get ready to have a fun memorable time... everyone’s super welcoming and friendly!
