Fan Feature Friday: Denise Aragon

Fan Feature Friday: Denise Aragon

Denise has been a lifelong Dodger fan despite the location that she was born and raised in, Giants country. Now living in socal, she is not only representing her love for the boys in blue proudly but she is raising her daughters on Dodgers baseball!

Is there anything Pantone fans should know about you?
I’m a Latina that was born and raised in the Bay Area who migrated to SoCal for
college and have been here ever since. Being from the Bay, you would expect
that I’d be a Giants fan but I fell in love with the Dodgers instead. I followed my
older brother’s footsteps in becoming a Dodger’s fan and remember them
winning the 1988 World Series. I’m proud to say that I have raised my two
daughters as die hard Dodger fans since birth.

First memory as a dodger fan?
I remember them winning the 1988 World Series against the Oakland A’s

Favorite Memory as a Dodger fan?
Taking my daughters for the first time to Dodger Stadium.

How did you first hear about Pantone 294?
I saw them on ESPN when they took over Yankee Stadium.

Have you been on any Pantone trips?
Yes, absolutely.

Which was your first trip?
Bus trip to AZ and I was in the bus that broke down lol. That was an experience but so much fun at the same time!!

If you’ve been on multiple trips which was your favorite trip?
That’s a tough one but I’d have to say the Bus trip to AZ

Favorite memory on the trips?
So many!! Walking into the stadium together, Roll Call, waving the huge LA flag,

but most importantly being able to experience this with family.

How you describe P294 to someone that doesn’t know about it?
P294 is a huge traveling fan club for the Dodgers. They plan everything from
hotel to airfare to sightseeing and watching the actual game. Opposing fans,
don’t even try to heckle because we travel 2,000 deep!! I always tell people it’s
jaw dropping to see 2,000 Dodger fans marching into a visiting stadium.

Do you usually attend alone or attend with friends or family?
I attend with my daughters and my brother’s family.

If you could have dinner with any Dodgers player, past or present, who would it be?
It would be Kike Hernandez. He is just so funny and full of energy, that I know he
would keep me laughing the whole time.

What would you ask him?
“Can I pleeease have one of your game jerseys?”

What is your favorite thing about Dodger Stadium?
The whole experience. From the dodger dogs and micheladas to the crazy fun
fans in the Pavillion and that gorgeous LA city skyline.

If you could play for the Dodgers what position would you play and why?
I would have to follow Kiké and be the Utility man, having the ability to play

everywhere.

What would your walk up song be?
Scooby Doo Pa Pa by DJ Kass

What is your favorite section to sit in Dodger stadium and why?
LFP or RFP, it’s the best seat in the stadium and the fans are truly electric!

If you could shadow a current Dodger for the day, who would it be and why?
I would have to choose Dave Roberts because he is the mastermind behind their
success. I would really like to see how he goes about putting together lineups
based on opposing teams and their pitchers.

Besides dodger baseball what are your other hobbies?
My most beloved hobby is dancing, as I am part of San Diego’s Fiercest
Commercial Dance Company. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new
restaurants.

How many stadium have you been to?
5 – Oakland, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Arizona

Besides Dodger stadium which is your favorite?

Since I reside in San Diego, I’d have to say Dodger Stadium South lol (Petco
Park).

Which trips are you excited for most during the 2019 season?
For 2020, I’m most interested in the Atlanta trip.

What would you say to someone thinking about a Pantone trip?
If you are a true Dodger fan, you need to experience this because there is
nothing else like it!
