Walker Buehler: Combined No-Hitter in His Second Major League Start 0
He went on to make his first major league start on April 23, 2018, where he pitched six scoreless innings against the Marlins. On May 4th, in Monterrey, Mexico against the San Diego Padres, Buehler took a no-hitter through six innings before getting taken out of the game. Relief pitchers Tony Cingrani, Yimi Garcia, and Adam Liberatore combined to finish off the game. This was first combined no-hitter in franchise history. To have Walker Buehler pull off a no-hitter through six innings in his second major league start is a great accomplishment. It was later announced that Buehler would stay in the starting rotation.
