The 2020 All-Star Game and weekend was designated to be hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic, the event was canceled and the Dodgers will now host the All-Star Game in 2022. The logo for every year’s All-Star Game changes to a theme that represents the hosting city.

For example, the 2021 All-Star Game logo heavily incorporates the Rocky Mountains with purple and black accents. The logo for the 2020 All-Star Game was a sharp representation of Los Angeles and how all the stars are in Hollywood.

With the game being canceled and then ultimately rescheduled, it begs the question as to if the logo for the 2022 All-Star Game will be changed. This is a very unique situation and the MLB has never had to cancel and plan to reschedule an All-Star Game. If the MLB wants to forget about the terrible year that was 2020 then they could decide to scrap the previous logo and go for a newer one that even better represents the city of Los Angeles.
