Fan Feature Friday: Karla Olmos

Fan Feature Friday: Karla Olmos

Karla Olmos is a familiar face within the Pantone 294 family. She first started out going to the local games at Dodger Stadium and LoanMart field to cheer on the minor league boys in blue, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Having the goal of visiting all the other MLB stadiums on her bucket list, being a part of the Pantone 294 family is a perfect way to meet that goal without feeling alone.

When she isn’t working or cheering on the Dodgers she can be found spending time with her daughters or collecting baseball memorabilia like bobble heads and pins! Fresh out of the eruptive Opening Day at Dodger Stadium, Karla was kind enough to answer some questions for me.

How you became a dodger fan? I was raised an Angels fan. As I got older, I started to watch Dodger games more and found myself enjoying their games more.

First memory as a dodger fan? I don’t have the greatest memory, but do remember Mike Piazza behind home plate!

How did you first hear about Pantone 294? Social Media

Which trip was your first trip? I did the local takeovers first vs the Cubs and the Quakes then ventured to San Diego

Which was your favorite trip? Toss up between Seattle and St. Louis but Seattle wins! Looking forward to DC and Vegas this year!

When describing Pantone 294 to someone that has no idea what it is, what do you say? Biggest Dodgers family there is. We bleed blue and are very welcoming. Even if you go on a trip alone, you’ll end up making many friends that turn into family.

What is your favorite thing about Pantone 294? Gets die hard Dodgers fans together to cheer on our boys during home and away games. There’s a different type of energy and vibe when Pantone is present and the flag comes out.

If you could have dinner with any Dodgers player, past and present, who would it be? Past, Jackie Robinson and present, Justin Turner.

What is you favorite thing about Dodger Stadium? The history and views of the city.

If you could play for the Dodgers what position would you play and why? Shortstop, that position is always part of the action!

What is your favorite section to sit in Dodger stadium and why? Lexus Club Dugout Seats, close to the players, you can order food and drinks from the convenience of your seats, great buffet provided and you get to run into past players!
